tho... OMGZ Fairyland should be [insert things here that aren't allowed on DA] for selling a body they have to know is faulty, and stringing it dangerously tight to try and hide that fact. Ugh ugh ugh. I have temporarily restrung the poor boy with some craft/sewing elastic. Not great, but at least he won't crack or something. 
And hot-glue sueded a buncha joints, still need to do more. ~WeaverOfTheNight is sending me some elastic she just happens to be able to have easy access to, so I'll give him a proper restringing then. Nothing like a crash course in the concept.

He's still on the temporary elastic (which has gotten tightened again) but he's doing okay, cuddling with Michael a lot. Yeah, I saw a lot of problems in the waiting room... sure, it was maybe one doll out of 10, but that was a crapload of dolls on that list while I was waiting (the winter event swamped the works ). And that kind of ratio would be a "WTF" issue if it were DZ or DoD or Soom or...
And I saw on twitter that they're trying to say they can't really make extra MNF neck attachment pieces without making a whole body. Bullllllll! Translation: "We know our bodies have issues, but our heads are cute, and require a special piece to work and to hybrid onto anything else! So you'll buy our body whether you want it or not, cuz the heads alone don't come with that piece, nya!"

If I had monies I'd buy a body and a head and give you the extra piece...buuuut I has no monies...which defeats the whole purpose of things. lol

I know the no monies thing too well, although I am hoooping to get all my disability backpay at the end of June (caseworker isn't sure if I'll get all of it, or just the partial check I was expecting, although he thinks it's a good chance). But I also found out that a huge chunk my previous caseworker told me again and again I would get... I won't. It at least paid off my lawyer, but I got a whopping $178. The original estimate on that part was $20K. Freaking government. They needa not tell people things that aren't gonna come true. (Oh right, they do that all the time.)
