ooo that hurts my eyes. heh. i think its the way the lines on the shell differ from the lines of whatever the other thing is.
but that is a cool shot. personally though i think that you should have put it more lower down so that its a 2 thirds of the way down to make it more interesting. i mean its interesting already, the way you chose to shoot portrait when a normal person would have shot a shell landscape. but i don't think central was so good.
