There's probability and then there are realities. Like you can't fly so close to a star but have a dense enough dust cloud in the way to block it (star and any local planets would have collected this material). Or while you could have planets somehow orbit very close to each other, the conditions wouldn't be ideal enough to live there (like other artists do) and those orbits would probably be un-sustainable.
