I am doing great. I have a show to get ready for where 5 of my paintings were accepted :) I am working on my first serious oils.

Do you have Facebook?

I avoid facebook...

Congrats on the show! I am in a show too, I sold two small works in acrylic so far... :aww:

Congratulations! What is the theme of the show?

The show I am participating is in California, the theme is Asian Influences.

Shawn aka `wroth designed and built my website, it was launched on the first day of this year.

I am still stoked about it because I have wanted a website for so long, and he did such an amazing job with it. The website has helped me a lot with the promotion of my work

This show does not have a theme, it is open topic.

I like your site, although I must admit, I'd like to see a next and previous option on the gallery images so you can go through the whole thing. Having to click back each time takes more time away from looking at your work. Also a print link might boost your print sales more.

Hope you enjoy success at the show - and beyond... thanks for the comment, I love hearing from you!

Thank you for viewing my site!

Shawn and I had talked about next and back options when viewing my images in full size, and it's a feature we might implement along with a "press" section under "In Studio".

The purpose of this site is more aimed towards galleries, therefore I place more emphasis on showcasing my portfolio rather than selling prints. Shawn had wanted to add this feature though, and I don't see any harm in doing so at a later date when my work becomes more established.

I am considering galleries too but I am unsure if I could commit to a similar genre of work... I am too broad in my tastes to limit myself in this way...

Right now I am doing exhibitions and shows in local art communities, restaurants, and public events like fairs and festivals. I figure this will gain me some exposure and experience before I just dive into a gallery contract.

What do you think? I think I need some classes before I submit to galleries, honestly. I feel my work is not up to par just yet.

I think you should just go for it :)
