You're remarkably blind for someone who has taken it upon himself to critque someone else's work. Not only do you have limited artwork yourself, but your choices of color is a standard palet that can be found on any sort of otaku fan based life.
Story, is story, its to the side but can always be relayed through artwork. There are many comics out there and picture pieces that pride themselves on being able to convay a story without having the use of the artistic language being incoprated. To bring into an argument that story is different from the art work is just displaying your own inexperiance in the magical relm of art.
As for the pose, you can't really say it's all that bad. It's basic, but that's the beauty in it. To over complicate something that does not need complication sends you into a die-hard sense that the picture is too busy and thus not worth more than one glance. True there are things that are too simple but in the end it still stimulates the same senses as to the overly complicated pictures.
The color choice is purely up to the artist. If you want to complain about the colors then do something yourself that's actually worth notice.
Maybe if you spent more time actualy trying to be a good artist yourself and not spend hours posing in front of a wall holding a fake gun like a limp fan at a convention then, just maybe you would get good enough to actually be worth someone's time. But as is, you're only succeeding in making good people have headaches over how rediculous this whole conversation is about. Please save yourself a shred of dignity and quiet yourself now.
