That's not really the point.. Gardevoir is very, very feminine.. Arguing otherwise is kind of delusional. As for your comment about it's name sounding like God of War.. It's name is made up of two different combinations of french words.. "Garde" meaning guard, and "Devoir" meaning duty OR "Garder" being the verb To keep and "Voir" being the verb To see. All of these reference ether loyalty or it being psychic. It's pokedex references frequently say how loyal it is to it's trainer.. one of them have ever said anything about it being anything like a bad ass ninja or a knight.. if anything, Gallade is the knight.. hence the fighting type.
