Nope. We met in a forum of our favorite author. He's just in a very specialized field of computer programming and I share custody of my 7 year old with my ex, so we are both sort of stuck right now. He's trying to move closer within the year.

For me, he lives in the same city as the college we are attending, but I live a couple hours away. :/ So we are are only separated for the summer, but it still seems like forever. >.<
