I'd rather have my little P&S than nothing at all.
Although, the only feature I wish it had, at the very least, was image stabilization. It has the digital one, but it makes makes everything noisy so I don't use it. I just have to take a hundred pictures of something to make sure I have at least one that is in focus. (I got shaky hands)
