hmm i would like to but thats a really bad idea since .gif doesn't support enough colors, if you know what i mean.

isnt there another file format on mac für cursors ?

Actually, we can easily import the "cursorxp" file format. Is that something you can do? Thanks!!!

hmm what does import mean in this case ?
does it mean import it and convert it to .gif ?

No just means that our cursor changing utility can open "cursorxp" files. Can you export your cursor set to that format?

cursor xp seems to be dead the only alternative would be cursor fx and thats not for free.

anyways i dont think i want to make such a huge work for this + i don't want to install this kind of software on my system
... sry ..
but i could provide other file formats for your mac if you want them

- btw. your info about mac's still using old and bad .gif-format confirmed my opinion that a mac isn't worth the money but thats just my opinion

The .gif format has absolutely nothing to do with the Mac, I'm just talking about a small 3rd party utility than can *import* gif files like many other types of images. The Mac OS doesn't use gifs in it's system whatsoever. We're just talking cursors here, don't confuse that with the Mac in general.

I appreciate the effort and no don't install any software just for this, I thought it would be a simple thing to do...

how about png ? that would be no problem and it would save the semi-transparent parts

Sure, that would work. But don't sweat it, I've wasted too much of your time already!
