I mean, how could you take that pathetic environmentalist hero, whose weakness is the very thing he fights, and make him look AWESOME?
Aw what Captain Planet is awesome haha. Sike, I haven't seen the show since I was a wee little lad, so I'm sure it's even more cheesy than I remember...but I still think the premise is cool: a diverse set of teenagers with rings that give them elemental powers join forces to create an ultimate warrior who takes out evil corporations that try to soak up the world's resources for profit. I mean you can definitely take that concept and make it cool. Those cheesy lessons at the end of each episode have to stay though - hahaha.
I'll admit, the idea was cool, but the show itself was a victim of its time.
