is Faber Castell fairly cheap and long lived? I use Micron pens and I can never find them and they die so quickly! I think work areas are always an organized chaos! Looks crazy, but you know exactly where everything is 
Well, I think they're cheaper than copics which I used before that. But I also find them a bit easier to draw with, can't say exactly why. And those who keep their working place in order are just to lazy to search!
