Apparently it was the day of the Rapture today. End of the world. But it didn't happen.

It was a serious prediction by many Christians. Apparently it was Judgement Day, whatever you want to call it. So God chooses those who are worthy to go to Heaven while the rest of us face 5 months of the Apocalypse, before he spares us by destroying the Universe.
It was predicted to happen at 6pm in every timezone, so New Zealand was the first to get it. Then 6pm GMT worldwide. Then 6pm EST. It's currently 1.5 hours after the latest prediction. So it's kind of fake
