I know that using any online service is always questionable, but I just wanted to say that I've used xoom twice for sending money to Goregoat, and never had any problems.
The first time was back in March 2009, and since that time, there have been no attempted hacks or misuse of my bank account, and I only receive an email from them about once every two months, so there's no huge spamming campaign going on either.
I can't say that there are no risks involved, as they are an online service. But I just wanted to say that they've worked fine for me, without any issues.
