Would you return to do Bizenghast after you finished the other series?

Well, either way, here's my opinion.

While I do really like Bizenghast, I know how it is to want to do a new project after focusing on one thing for so long. So, if you were to take a break and focus on a new series, I think that would be perfectly understandable. In fact, I've done the same thing in my writing numerous times (without finishing a story, to my chagrin...).

I would just really hope you could return to tell more of Bizenghast after you had completed the new story. Plus, there's the added bonus of more experience and fresh eyes to make it even more epic than it already would be.

So, if it were me, I would wrap on the current project and move on to the new one, then come back to Bizenghast at a later date.

Just my two cents.

well see, I'm not sure my publisher would want to break up the series like that. If I start a new series, it's pretty likely I'd never get to come back to BZG!

I think most people would want to see bzg continue, and so do I. I think if you want to do something different you should go with the next series but if there's that chance that you won't be able to tel the full story of bzg now, then I think you should take advantage of the time you have now and do that. Then afterwards you can do the new series.

But its always up to you. I just think if later you don't have that chance, you should take the chance now. Your fans will support you either way.

Well, there goes my decision for the poll. MOAR BZG it is! I think I'd froth at the mouth if the potential longer story didn't get published.
