Well Patl IS supposed to be going and giving a workshop, so that would be a good idea. You can save a bundle by sharing rooms with people too.
My girl, she's going pretty good. tweaking a bit on the elbow design, and will try to get my b/f to give her a coat of grey primer this weekend so we can see what needs more sanding. Still waiting for my new molding and casting supplies ~ I never knew I'd feel so lost having run out of resin!!! Plus I still need to seek out PVC pipe for the mother molds etc.

Oh goodie! I bet we would drive each other crazy ,but it sounds like good fun. I havent been outta my cage in a long while.

I shared with Armeleia and Batchix, and we had a great time. Plus we did get some sleep too!!

I haven't used PVC before, but have heard of it used so thought I would try it. I'll be cutting it down the middle lengthwise and then taping it up when I'm ready to pour. I should take pictures. I'll use pipe for your molds too and send the pipe when I'm done of course so you'll see how I did it.

I can see with the jointing its good if you can get the poses just so and still look goods . its a great accomplishment. There are so many BJD bodies that what to do if not improve on whats already there.

Besides if she ends up running the sculpting workshop, she'll be nervous the first night and really tired the next, so she'll need some support and hugs from good friends.
My silicone has finally shipped, it will be fun to try it and compare to the other stuff I have been using. Kaye speaks highly of it. Managed to source most of the pvc I need too, and I found some baseboard. Still need to get the parts primered but now things are finally moving forward. Need to clean the workshop it is so dusty everywhere
Gotcha on the bodies available these days. I look at them and maybe want them a little, but there is so much I would want to change and modify on either one that there is no point buying any of them.. especially when I have a body-building factory in the back room where I might as well spend my energy on scratch-building and make exactly what I want.
