This is pure Scottland on the way from Glasgow to Isle of Skye left side of the main road...

Do you think this is a picture from New Zealand? I never went to this Islands. But I would like to go there soon very much.

:D

Uhm...the road from Glasgow to the Isle of Skye is hundreds of miles long...it could be anywhere

Never been to NZ, but I'm not a good flyer so I doubt I'll get there :(

So what do you want? Just saying "Uhm...that isn't Loch Lomond" is not a very fair comment on this picture.

I was there. Loch Lochmond is a huge area and has many nice places. And you have to pass Loch Lochmond to go to the North West by car.

I live there

Its just...it's nice if you try and accurately label where your picture was taken.

If this is Scotland, it'll be much further north of Loch Lomond, probably closer to Glen Coe.

You live in a very very beautiful part of the world.

So it may be much more easier for you then for me to find out the area of the above picture. I am sure that it is not more then 50 miles away from Loch Lochmond or from your home if you live there.

I am sure this pic is made many miles in the south of Glen Coe...

:D

Thank you :)

I showed my mum the picture...she doesn't have a clue where it might be.

Do you know the name of any villages you passed on the way to Skye?

May be your mum will recognize this place very easily if you show her the following overview panorama of the same area which has a very distinctive landscape character. The trees on the opposite hill are 'organized' like secret letters of an old script...

The route: Glasgow ->82 ->Crianlarich ->Glencoe -> Fort William ->87 ->Invergarry ->Eilean Donan Castle -> Kyleakin ->Uig/Skye and back

My mum and I both know the route...I've never seen any loch along that route look like that...did you take any detours?
