successful model for about 5 or 6 years but got tired of the industry.

Cool. Yeah, I don't blame you. It's tempting to try to get into the entertainment industry because of the big bucks and fame looks good from here - but I think once one has it, it doesn't look as good anymore. You're doing great as a photographer! It suits.
Yeah, really what first drew me to it was self-expression.. I never was
really interested in the fame/money aspect, but of course it's a nice
thought to earn a living doing something you enjoy. But yeah, lots of
ugliness in the world of fashion, to be sure. Definitely not what it appears
to be on the surface.
