Clеver not much not the same style.
It was odd that his name was Clever Clover yet he was associated with sport, when his whole being was associated with Luck.
However as for the style obviously he's not going to look the same as his G2 self, he's in G4 style ^^ and this is how I imagine "Clover the Clever" would look except bearing a horn (I like to assume it's subtle nod the G2 toys).

Just in the film is Clever Clover girl. I didn't know.
I think you might be mistaken, Clever Clover was exclusively from the 1997-2003 toyline, the G2 ponies never had a TV show or film.
Unless you're talking about the "Clover the Clever" from Hearth's warming eve however there is no mention of gender of this character apart from the fact Twilight plays him (so it's up to fan interpretation of his gender). Or you're talking about Cover from the G1.5 TV series MLP:Tales who was Female.
