To be completely honest, no, Virgil's name did not come from Dante's Inferno. I'm embarrassed to say that I have never read it. >_>; Were you able to make connections to it, though?
Ahaha, not really. I didn't really make many connections, other than my suspicion that Mr. Smiles isn't quite human.
Dante's Inferno is about a man going down to hell and then back out. XD Virgil is the name of his guide down in hell.
