That looks like a baby chipmonk.
it is indian palm squirrel it looks very much like chipmunk of north amerika it has three stripes on its back but it is tree squirrel
we have another indian giant squirrel it is my states national animal it is huge in size again it is tree squirrel it is almost 2 kg or more i am not lucky enough to see it

Well I was lucky enough to see my states animal once. I almost ran it over. The bear ran right through- while i was driving on an icy road.
