no its actually 3 ounces with thinner milk making it a macchiato..
A macchiato has no milk in it. Just foam on top of espresso. Hence the name "macchiato", the past tense of "macchiare" meaning "to mark" or "to blot".
thats the italian way.
Is there an american way? or a melanesian way for that matter? Espresso IS italian.
