Haha, sadly the furniture in the room is supplied by the university and we are not allowed to alter it. I wish I could make my room more in my style but oh well, I have to be happy with what I've got.

That desk & chair looks about 100 years oldI don't think that will happen until the furnishings fall apart all by themselves. 
I don't really care, as they're sturdy and do their job. It's just a desk and since everyone's the same - no one really "looks at" it anymore.
