Well, that's not totally true. Necrons are waking up to restore their empire. Dark Eldars go on raidings to survive, and have a very complex ideology (racial superiority complex?), you only need to take some time to understand it. And some Chaos guys do have a reason to fight the Imperium, and don't make trips out of the Eye of Terror only to kill, maim, burn.
aren't the Necrons just mindless soul harvesters for the C'tan gods? as for the dark eldar i guess they do have just as much racial ideology as the average eldar, but sometimes all this talk of "pleasure" drowns it all out for me and they just end up sounding like a bunch of BDSM party animals gone violent

If I'm correct, Necrons now recall more Tomb Kings, they are no more kill-for-our-great-gods machines. I think.
