If you are on a Windows machine, to get the "ê" use the Character Map to get the "e" with the accent circumflex. Or you could just do Right Alt + 0234 on the keypad.
When I am using my old MacBook I have the Character Pallette open all the time and just copy it from there. Someone with a newer Mac probably has an easier way to do it.
