Oh wow, the traditional hatching looks awesome! But I'm also impressed by how much the digital tool hatching looks like a traditional one. If you compare them side by side, there are obvious differences, but you wouldn't know otherwise if you saw that on its own. How fast or slow is digital hatching compared to traditional hatching?

Thanks! Hmm actually they are pretty similar, visually and in execution, because they have the same stroke motions basically. I took about 30 min to do the traditional one, and it was pretty quick to do it digitally as well. However with a tablet, there is a delay/lag in some strokes so the digital one takes some more tweaking to fine-tune it. So I would say it's just as fast, but depending on how much you want to be "perfect" it can take longer to edit it later. XD For example, I added a layer of white hatching on top of some black areas, and another layer for gray hatching too, just for something extra. :)
