You successfully completed your goal. It is very sad and eerie at the same time. The person is there in the bed cover in the pattern on it, the wrinkles of the cover, and the way the painting seems to be unraveling itself in the lower left corner. The flower closest to the the edge of the covered pillows speaks volumes of a past life. So does the small size of the bed; the person was alone in the bed when the passed, say a great grandmother in a small room that became her home within a larger home, hopefully with family.
It actually brings back memories: sad, sweet, and beautiful loving ones. Thank you for sharing this piece!
