Hi! Can I ask how do you scan your watercolours so perfectly? Whenever I try, I loose all the subtle shades and colours, and so in the end I just take a photo of the painting... :C

i had that problem too. i don't know about you, but it was because my scanner has an auto-color correct option that's turned on by default, i turned that off, restarted it, and it worked a lot better. if you're making them specifically for DA and only care about how it looks on here, you could experiment with making details that would normally be subtle more striking and then mess around with them in either SAI or Photoshop- either with the hue/saturation/contrast options, or adding a layer, setting it to 'overlay', and then messing around with white-gray-dark colors with a soft brush to see how that changes it.
