I do approve of the no-clop. It's completely unnecessary for this story.
I'll happily admit that I've read a few fics that contain sexual content, and sadly the fics that doesn't have it as a "main" feature often get too caught up in that, and suddenly everything is about that, everything else is forgotten...
It seems that suddenly introducing it to a story that doesn't need it is like building a wall, and forgetting to put a door in it.

I just treat it like excessive gore. I have yet to write a scene where I feel it's necessary.
So, you're suggesting that it's not impossible that one day you'll write it? 
I have yet to find a scene where I need it. All I'm sayin'.
To be honest, I don't think it's ever really needed unless the entire story revolves around that.
