The shirt is really cute, though I don't understand how cell phones, candy/sweets, and dogs are geeky

I did. "she loves candy, games, manga, dogs and lots of other "geeky" things." It implies that those are all geeky things. I understand it's for her cousin and they're all things her cousin likes, but all I'm saying is that I just don't get how they're all classified as "geeky."
No it doesn't imply that. She's talking about candy, games, manga, dogs, and other things, but she put "geeky" in front of other things. This would mean she's describing the other things as geeky like the Nintendo D.S. on there or the anime character. I hope I'm explaining this alright.
She says "and other geeky things." This would imply that the things she already listed are also "geeky," which is why I made the comment I did. If she had said "she loves candy, games, manga, dogs and lots of "geeky" things." instead, then it would have meant that her cousin likes geeky things in addition to the other stuff she listed.

(I mean I don't think pastries of whatever are geeky, this is why I think she is implying the other things are geeky. Keep in mind not everyone has perfect grammar, 'cause that could be a part of the problem

Normally I would agree with you and say yeah, she's probably just saying that her cousin likes geeky things in addition to the stuff she listed. But you have to remember the actual shirt, too. If the author/her cousin doesn't think iPods, pastries, dogs, etc are geeky things, why do they comprise a good portion of a shirt that says "find your inner geek"? To me, it just doesn't make sense how they're supposedly nerdy or geeky in anyway. That's all I'm saying.
I understand from where your coming from, but, this shirt was made for her cousin so it's going to be tailored to her cousin and if her cousin likes those things they'll probably get a good portion of the shirt. This combined with the fact that the cousin is geeky, creates this shirt. Her cousin is a geek in real life, so that's why the shirt says what it does. The shirt includes geeky stuff as welll as stuff she likes that is not geeky.
I'm going to butt in here and say I agree with the first comment, aaaaand yes, I read the artist's comments, but I still don't understand.
