It's beautiful. (: Three years ago, I got my cat's paw prints on my left shoulder. I've gotten shit for it, too, but I don't care; it was my first tattoo and it means more to me than anyone can ever know. She is my best friend - she was there for me through school, Hurricane Katrina, family problems, and my depression. Fuck the haters. As long as it means something to you, that's all that matters!

My paw print tattoo means incredibly much to me, too, and I can totally understand why you chose to tattoo your cat's paw prints on you. I think that people won't be able to relate if they haven't loved a pet as much as we have. 
And I don't care what negative things people say about my tattoo, either. It's like you said; as long as it means something to me, that's all that matters
And I love my tattoo for what it means to me.
