That's great! I know exactly what you mean, too - it's the scenes I can see in my head that drive me to write too, and as I draw, plot ideas and the feel of the story work their way into the image. It's a gift to be able to illustrate your own story - one that Arakawa knew well - and those of us who can draw share it.

I'm glad I inspired you! The computer is an amazing tool - I have drawn realistically all my life, but only recently tried drawing in an anime-like style with the computer. I had gotten to an impasse with traditional art and felt as if I had gotten about as good as I was going to get in that medium, but the computer has opened up a lot of potential for me. I feel sort of the way Ed must have getting his automail for the first time; the crippled at last being able to run again (with augmentation.)
