Thank you!  My biggest problem with the asteroid bubble was that the asteroid came out looking like a peanut....Sorry, hope I didn't ruin it for you.  My favorite was the two people superimposed over the endless lines of gold and blue bubbles.  That led to an interesting thought about being able to control the physical properties of water to the point where it could be used for clothing.  THAT would be cool!
As far as being able to paint like that: no secret.  Just do a lot of paintings.  You'll get there and surpass what I have done.    Take care!
