I really, really wish I had more time right now to express to you how much I adore this. I mean, the composition is very unique and I love the approach you took to the whole day/night transition. I've never seen anything quite like it before! The use of clouds was ingenious... I envy your creativity. ;A; The course my eyes take when looking at this doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable at all. Despite how much is going on in this image, nothing conflicts in my mind... It all comes together smoothly for me.
I think you prove just how powerful a tool simplicity can be when used properly. I could learn so much just from looking at stuff like this!

I'm really glad to read that first paragraph. The composition was definitely the most difficult thing to get a handle on the whole time I was coloring this, from the day/night element, the composition shape, eye flow, and harmonizing the multiple elements. I think I made five million changes throughout the whole process haha! Most people enjoy the outcome of all my choices, but can't really appreciate the process I went through to get it that way 
So it's really awesome that you and a few others really recognize what's really going on.
