You should definitely compile a portfolio of this: you have the knack to imitate/copy the established art direction from the 2D animation to a T 
I am actually working on that.. Plus I have my ipad filled with pics that i use as a Portfolio all the time. Thank you very much for your comment!

I think if I was going somewhere that was expecting a portfolio, I would bring a portfolio. But if I am going to something like a industry party after Comic Con and start talking to others, having good size pics of my sculpts is very handy. I've actually gotten work from having my ipad with me when I didn't know I would need a portfolio.
