Dude this is sick, love detail you are incredibly skilled at drawing. I love the fact that you can still sort of see his original legs!
My idea was to seem like he's still shedding his elf skin while transforming into the drider. The thought seemed creepy enough to make it into the drawing.
its really good, adds to the fear factor! As you say yourself most other people's versions of a Drider lack the monstrosity that I think is needed. Good job!
