Animal abuse is so terrible. Animals have feelings too; just because they don't express it in the same way doesn't mean they don't have it. They whine and cry when they're in physical or emotional pain, become energetic when happy or excited, calm down when tired or sleepy, etc..

I have two dogs that were both abused by their previous owners; it wasn't major, but still abuse nonetheless. My youngest dog is still traumatized and gets extremely nervous and aggressive around new people if not watched properly. If we raise a hand or leg, she'll react as if we were going to hit her. My other dog isn't traumatized anymore (I think); she used to get scared very easily and had a hard time getting along with visitors, but now she's become more friendly and brave.

Animal abuse is not okay, and I hope to become a major advocate for animal rights.

Animal rights are human rights too.
