why exactly that orange color ? and how can I select the right color if my palette(red , blue , orange) ?

_{I don't know much about proffessional art, but I would go with how you feel the tone of your piece will be. a bit sad or depressing? use blue, firey/passionate? reds/oranges Bright and happy yellow/light green ect, just how you think would fit the tone of your piece best (hope I helped!)}
