no, it was a gundam and other random parts.
Metal gear is my favorite game series, so i was definitely influenced by it.

im more into WALKERS than MECH (tank turrets with legs like the TITAN fom C&C TIBERIAN DAWN for example)also, as a macross fan, i dont have too much love to gundam but that one looks very cool
