yeah i just been serious to this stuff and made it a hobby. I've searching for tutorials to find new technique & styles, observing/analyzing artworks on how it was made & watching speed paints. and also practice. 
If your art is anything to go by, then that is definitely the way to practice and learn. I myself have little skill in drawing, but I'm practicing. I'm sketching, trying to improve. My goal is to at least be decent at drawing. I'm gonna take what you said as advice. I'm gonna have to try some of that. Thanks.
