I saw some of your work, too. It's a good start, and the biggest thing I can suggest is to spend a lot of time with GOOD, detailed tutorials. Digital Tutors and/or the Gnomon Tutoring site has the best in the world. Everything from beginning level (10 minute) tutorials, to extremely advanced (12+ hours) lessons.
Other than that, it's just a matter of learning and figuring out proper mesh flows of everything around you. Once you learn what a mesh "should" look like on every day objects, the rest gets easy.
