Can I quickly ask what program you made the tutorial in? I've been trying for WAY too long.

Photoshop CS4! It took a while to do but that's the best I've found so far :/

ooo thanks, I ended up trying SAI and GIMP but it was a nightmare, I ended up getting CS6 as a present and it's ridiculously easy on there.
