i thought that they had been friends for ages(since they were kids), and theyre were in high school/college and everyone knows francis' flirtatious nature she was confused with her feelings and his actions. he puts on an act for everyone except her, girls and drama everywhere. didnt really think too much XD just whipped up the idea
