It's intended to be realistic fiction or non-fiction. Or, at the very least, have realistic aspects... However, I may separate it into 2 sections for Real Life and Slice of Life, as you suggested, as people don't seem to be following the rules for it XD
As an example, we'd allow vampires in the Slice of Life as long as it's set in the "real world" and does not deviate too far into fantasy. Such as, you cannot have a medieval story here, or one where the characters are in space, it needs to be modern day, earth.
