Seriously though. Regardless of the original intent, the photo is very strong. That's how market affects human curiosity and creativity, that's where both science and art are struggling together, being measured and judged in market terms of profitability. I think that the disappointment in social and technical progress in the modern society is mostly, if not entirely, driven by the fact that we let the market perform the expertise, that supposed to be _social_ in the first place, to decide what's worthy and what's not. But fortunately for art, it doesn't take big money, expensive equipment and many years of work to exist in all its diversity - at least not as often and as much as the modern science does... I hope we won't let the copyright madness take this remaining freedom from us, in the end. And excuse me for politics in this comment, maybe it's too much.
