Nice pose! You're definitely getting into this new style a bit. The bg kinda distracts from the pretty details, though, since it's dark like Layla's coloration and the very subtle highlighting doesn't make her stand out against it. :/

I have to agree, the background distracts a bit. But I tried getting a lighter background and it just wouldn't work... I'll give it another try and update this if I find a better version.
