Neither standard nor board gauge!
I've calculated with my friend that the gauge is around 3-4 meters (3 is my choice), close the German Super train proposal.
You can see the discussion here:

The German proposal:

The locomotive as I've stated quite many times weights 1000tons.
The Wheel arrangement is one of the weirdest things as the artworks have this few while ingame in the battle screen it have many more:

The story of the game based on the French Visual Novel: The Ice Company (Le Compagnie des Glaces) while the creators themselves told they based the locomotive from the Heavy Metal Hero Cover by Rodney Matthews:

(Hence the large size, and many funnels I assume)
Which looks like are either 4-14-8 or 0-18-8

And to help with the rail gauge (I've been told trains usually twice as wide as the rail's gauge) here are some screen from the insides of the wagons (I've been re-drawn them but they are close to the originals)

The insides of the wagons looks like 6-7-8meters wide.

Well 3 meters is approximately 9 feet so that would be considered broad gauge, or in this case super broad gauge.

That 9 feet is actually closer to 10 then 9. but it's between 3 and 5 meters. Try using the thread the pictures as a base
