Gah, such stereotypes! There ARE no boring episodes, and Kirk has never seduced an alien queen, green or otherwise! :XD:

Perhaps not a queen, but I do seem to remember one episode where there was some lone inhabitant of a planet, living happily with his wife, and Kirk shows up and works his magic on the missus.

Boring may be the wrong word. Even the truly terrible episodes are fun. Can't forget Eden.

Well, Kirk would NEVER go after a married woman. The only episode that partially fits your description would be "The Man Trap," in which they go to a planet where a man and his wife are doing archeological research (in order to provide routine medical care and resupplying), but the wife is Dr. McCoy's old flame, not Kirk's. McCoy gets reacquired, but then they find out that the wife had actually died years ago, and had been replaced by a mind-bending alien that went on a killing spree on the Enterprise. Kirk only tried to kill the thing, not seduce it...

Ahahaha, "The Way to Eden"... those space hippies were great. :XD:

I dunno, I'd have to review my Star Trek history. I should ask my uncle. He'd instantly recall the exact episode. And the date it originally aired. And the actors of all ancillary characters.

Heh, your uncle sounds like a pretty cool guy! But just so you know, I have an equally encyclopedic knowledge of TOS (The Original Series, as in the original Star Trek), and there is no such episode that you're referring to.

People think they know Kirk (hell, they think they know everything about TOS) just by what they've heard in stereotypes, but if they actually watched the show and got into it, they'd find that their impressions were wildly inaccurate... ;)

It definitely wasn't the one with McCoy's old flame. I'll probably see it again years from now and reactivate my by-then defunct account just so I can give a mighty Toldja So. I'm not sure if the plot involved a wife, or daughter, or whatever, but there was a definite Forbidden Planet-style family rift caused and even encouraged by Kirk in one of them.

Any idea yet as to which non-existent episode you were referring to? :XD:

It was episode 91.5: "Kirk Crams Pimpage".
