Yes I saw the film but wasn’t quite pleased with it. I know the legend since my childhood and had some expectations towards the film. I think there’s a second film, old (black-white I think) which I would like to see.

I know the myth since my childhood too, but I never think a lot about it, and this movie has remind me this story (but I'm not sure I know all about this myth...sure not)

I was always fascinated about tales and folkloric. And could remember them pretty well. If you’re interested in some further fables read my ‘Alp Bogy’ poems. There I try to tell our Swiss folklore in Rhymes.
Yea it’s a blessing and a curse at the same time that we have 4 languages. I’ve just been on vacation for a week. Visiting the triangle of Bulle-Broc-Gruyere. It was awesome but Man! I shore forgot a lot about French since school. That’s what happens when you don’t practice But since I’m from the German part I can mess with the Germans. I love to do that. We can understand them but they mostly can’t understand us, even the Zürich dialect (which I find the easiest of them)! Always makes me laugh. Is that the same with you? Do French and Swiss-French have different dialects?

I live juste on the border between France (Haute-Savoie in fact) and Swiss and don't really know well the France (just the villages near from here and some important cities that I have visited traveling) but there is not any differences between french and french spoken in Swiss...but there is the accent!
(The Zürich one is one of the funniest I confirm! We have a teacher from here !)
When I speak with friends from Gruyere (there is the Giger museum here, but I think you have see already see it! It one of my preferred museum!!! Love HG.Giger's art!), Nyon or from The Chaux-de-Fond their very strong accent always influence me and I speak with the same intonation than them during hours ^_^ that's funny.
Yeah I know there is deferences between german and swiss-german but I always think they are tiny...but if you can speak with your neighbors that's the essential!

Yes it is a brilliant museum and the region also is very beautiful (and the absinthe is delicious!)
Well, for the studies I complain by I work of my passion and finishes my studies in something who so hold me heart a lot! ^_^
