Hope you are not against by the black humor on this theme.. Why many artists are inclined to depression? :?

I have no clue. But I could imagine that mental illness fosters creativity somehow. Take David Lynch for example: he's a genius, but at the same time totally cracked up. ;)

Maybe.. Yet I like the version that hypersensitivity causes mental fatigue.. exhausts emotionally.. like this version more :aww:

That's the other way round, but sounds much more pleasant indeed. ;)
Hypersensitivity, and maybe also hyperempathy (if that exists).
Both can make you believe that you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders...
Creativity is an outlet, like a vent for the emotional pressure.

 Haha sometimes we are a bit we deceive ourselves, indeed.. :aww: although it is better to believe in ourselves, than not! ;)
What about David Lynch: it's better to be David Lynch than just a mad guy :D
Depression is not madness, by the way ;) What a relief! :giggle:

Seriously, thank you for your attention for a bit off-topic (focused on ourselves) question.. :thanks:
