) and Im quite finished with painting actually... but could you give me any advise whats now? What varnish should I use to protect it and add some glossy efect on eyes and lips?

For the all over face, go with Mr Super Clear (MSC) or I've heard Testors Matte is ok. Wear a respirator mask when using those. For the gloss, just a simple art store acrylic varnish will do, like liquitex or Golden. Hope it helps, and congrats on your first repaint
